How Classi Protects Your Equinox Account

We Never Store Your Password
When you connect your Equinox account, Classi uses your credentials once to obtain a session token — the same way the official Equinox iPhone app works. Your password is never logged, never saved, and never sent to our database. After the token is obtained, it's encrypted and stored. Your actual password is gone.
AES-256-GCM Encryption
Your session token is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it's stored. This is the same encryption standard used by banks and healthcare providers. The encryption key is never stored next to your token — even if someone accessed our database directly, they would only see encrypted data they cannot use.
What We Access and When
Classi only accesses your Equinox account at one specific moment: when a class booking window opens and you have that class queued. We submit the reservation and nothing else. We do not browse your membership details, view your payment information, access your personal profile, or interact with your account at any other time.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account
When you close your Classi account, your encrypted token is permanently deleted from our database immediately. There is no archiving, no backup retention — it's gone. You can also disconnect your Equinox account from your settings at any time without closing your account.
Classi Is Not Affiliated with Equinox
Classi is an independent service. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Equinox Fitness Clubs or Equinox Holdings, Inc. We use Equinox's API on your behalf as your authorized agent — the same way you would use the Equinox app yourself.
